The theme tunes will go ahead with the class reps being given 2 weeks to submit their final suggestions. Each theme tune will be 90 seconds long and will be listed on this site as soon as they ahve been decided upon.

Ministry - HERO -
Industrial metal or maybe a bit of old school Deep purple. I go with alistair though whatever it was would sound really bad on the pa system - maybe a bit of peter and the woolf ? I love that. What do you mean we are not allowed to race with ipods ???

The idea with the theme tune is to add some atmosphere and give you a bit of a count down. As you get to know the song you get a rough idea how much longer you've got. It also means that if you missed the announcemnt or are not sure which race the siren was for, the tune will let you know. So the idea is for both atmosphere and a countdown. Personally I'm up for a Nickleback tune, although I can't remember it's title!

We can't hear the PA system now so what is the point of extra background noise that will be barely audible anyways?
If we were allowed to race with ipods then I'd be probably listening to the wiggles.
