Brody Nowlan into the 2010 Red Bull Rookies Cup

3 weeks ago we were told that the Red Bull Rookies Cup would go ahead in 2010 and that we needed to send our MRRDA selection.  With no time to sort out a Junior shootout we were left with little choice but to send our series leader Brody Nowlan. In all fairness it wasn't too hard a choice as Brody was leading by a country mile and had shown that he can also ride a 125GP bike.  So it is with great delight that we find this morning that seven riders from the trials have been invited to join the 2010 Red Bull Rookies Cup and Brody is in amongst the seven.  Below is an extract from the official press release

"It was an intense day of testing in warm and humid conditions but the cool track in the early morning caught out some of the youngsters though there were no serious injuries. The initial 15 minute familiarisation session was followed by two 20 minute tests with groups of 7 riders out on the track together.

An extremely high level of ability was represented from as far afield as New Zealand, Poland, Argentina, the Russian Federation, the USA and Brazil. Judges Gustl Auinger, Harald Bartol, Raul Jara and Peter Clifford made their selection and the results were announced to the riders before they left the circuit.

A big congratulations to Brody who we know will do both the MRRDA and Australia proud next year.  To keep Brody company fellow MRRDA rider Josh Hook has also been invited back for the 2010 series. To make it a healthy Aussie Trio Arthur Sissis has also been invited back.

Please join us in wishing all three Aussie riders all the best of luck in 2010.  We will do what we can to assist these riders with their continued quest to becoming true stars of the sport.  They've certainly got a great start thanks to Red Bull and the Rookies Cup in 2010.
