Motorcycling Australia (MA) is pleased to announce its support for the 2009 Motorcycle Road Race Development Association (MRRDA) Junior National Series, confirming the two stroke and four stroke junior classes will be official Australian National Cups. Chairman of MRRDA, Paul Edwards, said that this was a step in the right direction for Australian Junior Road Racing. “Over the last few years the MRRDA has strived to provide a solid platform for safe development of Junior Road Racing,” Edwards said. “The moves by MA to not only provide us with National Cup status but to also provide end of year awards is a sign of all our hard work paying off. “I’d like to extend a big thank you to MA and to everyone involved in the MRRDA for their hard work which has made this possible.”

The MRRDA is a not for profit association promoting a five round National Road Race Series aimed at developing Junior Road Racing talent.To ensure continuous development, each race meeting is attended by coaches who work with the Series participants to help them with their riding and their presentation skills.
