The MRRDA and MNSW have been working closely to try and find the appropriate path to provide the Nippers class an opportunity to participate in the 2009 season opening round at Oran Park.  Although everybody is keen to move forward there are a number of factors including the available time frame that in the end have beaten us.  Paul Edwards MRRDA – “I’ve been really encouraged by the way the MNSW board have approached this and I’m positive that we can get a suitable conclusion eventually.  Unfortunately the time required to get things through the various government departments at this stage means that we simply are not going to get a positive conclusion in time for our first round.  It’s a real shame, but that’s the way the cookie crumbles sometimes.  We will continue to work closely with MNSW as we both continue to develop Junior road racing in NSW”.
