WHERE DO I START ?
The question we get asked more than any is "how do I get started?" A damn good question as well. If you look to the right you'll see a section called "new to racing". Have a look there as a starting point. The next question is "how much will it cost?" That one depends on you. The cheapest solution is either to convert your 4 stroke dirt bike with road wheels and tyres or if you are a junior (rather than a nipper) you also have the option to go and get a Honda, Yamaha or Aprilia 125cc or 150cc 4 stroke road bike (there are others as well). Go see our friends at Racers Edge and they'll provide you with race bodywork and your off. If you don't like the road racing or you move up as you get older, you simply either convert your dirt bike back or sell the 125 roadie as a roadie. The capital outlay then is minimal. The rules for the Junior 4 stroke class does state up to 160cc, so we'll accept 125cc 4 strokes as well as the 150cc Honda and Yamaha's. (the 4 stroke 125/150's are all about the same performance ) Note that they MUST remain OEM, so you cant bore them out to 160's. That keeps it fair, cheap and the racing close.
