Junior classes
At each round the rider that secures pole position for the first race of the weekend will be awarded one of a number of awesome Draggin Jeans products.

A junior shootout will take place on August 29th with at least the top 2 individuals selected from each of the Junior classes (not nippers). One Rider from each of the 125GP and 250GP mono classes may also be considered if they are under the age of 15 years old. The total number of riders in the shootout will not exceed 6. Selection will be based upon points scored on the track and accumulated MAC points. The 6 riders will be set a number of tasks over the day to test their ability on a 125GP bike. Selection for one of the 3 major prizes will be carried out by 4 judges. The 4 judges will be Peter Vermuelen, Paul Edwards, Fiona Macintosh and Steve Brouggy (or another member of the California Superbike School team). The judges will not only be looking for ability on the track, but also ability to get the best from the 3 prizes on offer. (not everyone can afford to compete in the Red Bull Rookies cup or indeed consider themselves ready). The 3 prizes on offer are;
1. A spot in the final trials for the 2012 Red Bull Rookies cup. Includes air fares and accommodation for participant and a parent, provided by Red Bull.
2. A ride in a 125GP team in the final round of the Italian Championships. Includes air fare for the participant provided by Draggin Jeans.
3. A ride in a 125GP team in the final round of the Italian Championships. Includes air fare for the participant provided by TBA.
The decisions of the judges for both the selection process and the awarding of prizes are final.

MAC points
MAC stand for Marketability, Attitude and Character. Points will be awarded for Junior participants who show that they have these qualities by the 3 judges. These judges will be Chris Baker, Zara Griffin and the representative from the California Superbike School.
Points awarded will be 5 for 1st place down to 1 for 5th place. These points are awarded to promote the appropriate behaviour in line with a path towards a professional career in Motorcycle racing. This is especially important in these days of tight economies as riders seeking financial support need to be able to act in an appropriate manner for their coming roles as ambassadors for their sponsors.

The MAC points are only taken into account for the end of year standings.  They are not taken into account with the round by round 1st, 2nd and 3rd place positions and trophies.
