The 250GP mono class is a new class to Australia, Introduced in 2008 to accomodate the Juniors progressing on into the senior ranks.

A 250cc single cylinder engine in a racing chasis provides a fantastic step up for the Juniors. As the world seems to be phasing out the 2 strokes, this is an alternative to the 125GP class as the next logical step.

Until we have enough numbers ot justify it, the 250GP mono's will be run with the 125GP's but will be pointed separately.
