Interstate travel - rebate or transport?

We are working hard getting sponsors and partners on board to make interstate travel as cheap & painless as possible so you can arrive at the circuit full of beans & less pain in your pocket.

The question we want answered by you is:

What is more important, organising transport or giving a rebate on your entry when you have to travel interstate?

We are still working on this and hope to have some news shortly.

Travel rebates, this in my opinion would be easier for MRRDA to organise. It didn't take us Vics much effort in 06 to organise a container for shipping 10 bikes thanks to great guys like Terry Fox. I'm sure the other states could do the same with a few volunteers organising it, someone is bound to opperate a business that uses a freighting company. A container and transport isn't that expensive if it is done as a group.

I just though I'd clear it up. We pretty much have the money for the rebates for all classes. We've still got some finalising to do, but we are just about there. We are working on a transport deal which ideally would see your bikes and gear transported for free. But as many have deemed fit to tell me this week apparently my ideal world is not possible! Still not going to stop us from trying though. The question was really if we can't get both and we have to choose, which way would you like us to spend the money we can get?

Travel rebates would suit us better. I figure when you bring a garage on wheels with up to 4 bikes it will work out cheaper even with subsidised transportation.

rebate , then we can tailor our transport to our needs.

Rebate, many of us have expensive trailers or transports(not me unfortunately) and prefer to bring all our garbage along. Would it be too much trouble to have the option of both? Probably, so rebates gets my vote.

For us I would like to see a travel rebate. It would best suit our situation with racing in the Series next year. Any assistance with our travel costs (and you know our situation) would be hugely appreciated. Regards Peter Brown

Interstate travel rebates would be more useful for me!
