2008 National Championship Status

Today we were notified by MA the results of our applications for Australian Championship status for the Juniors, 400's and 250GP's..  For the Juniors and the 400's it appears that MA want to see how the rules and the numbers go for 2008 and then see what the Road Race Commission suggests.  The 250GP's however are being considered and further discussion between the MRRDA and MA is required.  From what we understand we just need to clarify a couple of points to get approval.

It is worth noting that contrary to claims by others, the decisions were made at the December 19th MA board meeting and for 2008 there is no National Championship for Juniors in road racing.
