Reece Bancell Memorial Association Partners with the MRRDA

04/01/2007

David Bancell from the Reece Bancell Memorial Association has today confirmed the Associations involvement with the MRRDA series. David said “The Reece Bancell Memorial Association is pleased to advise its support of the GP125 category of the MRRDA series with a support package of up to $5,000 for the best judged GP125 rider under 18. Along the same lines as the winner of the Red Bull prize in the Junior Class, the winner of the Reece Bancell Memorial Association prize will need to show good attitude, character and presentation, as well as good on track results..

This may encompass product, or cash, or combination of both and will be determined based on the winner's future aims.” David goes on further to say “We see the GP125 series, in addition to your Junior Series, as a stepping stone for our future champions and would like to see both these categories expand to become the lead-in for our talented riders to the Australian GP125 Series and beyond to MotoGP.

The Reece Bancell Memorial Association is committed to rider safety, rider development and the development and safety of motorcycle sport in general.” The MRRDA looks forward to working closely with the Reece Bancell Memorial Association as we both strive to develop Australian Road racing. It is awesome to see the Bancell Family getting right behind the sport in circumstances that would see lesser people walk away.
