Today we had the pleasure of sitting down with Mick Matheson the Editor of AMCN and signing a sponsorship deal. As part of the deal AMCN will provide both promotional editorial and race coverage for the series. Mick has been very supportive from the word go, so it is a delight to know that we will be working on this exciting project with such an enthusiastic Sponsor. As the first step we have seen the article that will appear in this week's edition. Everybody should make sure they have a copy!
Thanks to Mick and AMCN for their support.

We have just finished conducting an interview over the phone with the lovely Kellie Buckley from AMCN. As Sponsors of the series AMCN will run a number of features and articles including helping us launch the series and a write up on each round. We not only thank everyone at AMCN for their involvement, but also hope that this will help our series participants to get personal sponsorship. Young Matt Walters who is the first Junior to try out the CBR150 at Oran Park got his first media interview during this process. We hope it is the first of many for young Matt and a swag full of other Junior riders.

Craig Johnston and Paul Edwards got to ride the Honda CBR150 at Wakefield Park today. Funnily enough the little bike is over geared for the Wakefield track, only just hitting top gear by the end of the main straight. All the same it was a bundle of fun to ride with both riders able to get their "knee down" everywhere they would expect to do the same on their 400's. Up the top of the track it is so light that it comes into its own. Given half a chance Craig would have spent all day on it. Once again thanks to Honda and today we must also thank St George and James Spence for letting us try out this little pocket rocket at Wakefield.

We took delivery of one of the exciting Honda CBR150 race bikes that the Juniors will ride in the series. With the help of Mark Avard we were able to do a few laps of the Oran Park Motard Circuit (skipping the dirt part!!). Young Matt Walters (13yrs old) was allowed out to give it a go. We believe that it will be months before he stops grinning. What a bundle of fun this little race bike is and we can not wait to see a grid full of Juniors on them in 2007. Courtesy of riding the bike today, we have been able to determine that these little bikes really are ready to go as you buy them from Honda. As such we have put through some recommendations to MA as they requested. Thank you to Tony Hinton of Honda for organising the bike and for his and Honda's support of the series and what we are trying to achieve. Also a special thanks to Mark Avard for his help today.
